Accessibility Statement

Fidalgas de Santar is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with Decree-Law No. 83/2018, of October 19, and Decree-Law No. 82/2022, of December 6, which transpose Directive (EU) 2016/2102 and Regulation (EU) 2019/882 into national law, respectively.

Current compliance status

This website is partially compliant with the accessibility requirements set forth in WCAG 2.1 Level AA, due to the non-conformities listed below.

Inaccessible content

Some parts of this website are not fully accessible, for the following reasons:

  1. a) Non-compliance with accessibility requirements:
  • Certain interface elements, such as buttons and text on light backgrounds, do not comply with criterion 1.4.3 (Minimum Contrast), making reading difficult for people with low vision.

These issues are currently undergoing technical assessment and will be progressively corrected by the end of 2025.

  1. b) Content outside the scope of applicable legislation:
  • Some older PDF files available on the website may not having been generated in an accessible manneras they were produced before 2018. These documents are marked and will be gradually replaced by accessible versions.

Continuous improvement plan

A comprehensive review of the website's graphical interface and technical structure is currently underway with the aim of achieving full compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA by the end of 2025. All changes will be developed with accessibility built in by default (accessibility by design).
